Pursehouse is presently incarcerated while waiting to stand trial for the allegations of murder and first-degree domestic burglary as a result of the public’s interest in knowing his whereabouts after his capture.

DNA evidence established that Pursehouse was present at Amie’s House the night of the murder, which was supported by the evidence in the court records against him.
Within a day or two, a lot of evidence was obtained; surveillance footage from nearby CCTV cameras revealed that someone was attempting to enter her flat.
Amie’s ex-boyfriend, whose DNA was discovered in her nails, was the killer, according to the evidence and further information from Amie’s acquaintances.
